About the method.

What is the Wholeness Work?

A precise, repeatable method to spiritual awakening, the direct recognition of being, beneath the sense of a separate self. Created by Connirae Andreas, it works one structural layer beneath thought, with the felt sense of self rather than the story about it. People come through their pain; awakening is the work. The relief, in all its forms, is a side effect. Click here to experience a beginning exercise.

What does awakening mean in the Wholeness Work?

In the Wholeness Work, awakening is experienced as realising the I as Awareness. The small “I,” the felt location of the one who is perceiving, is recognised as a contraction within the field of Awareness. The Awareness is what experiences it. When that contraction relaxes, Awareness becomes the experiencer: a structural shift, reached procedurally through the formats of the method.

This goes beyond the usual understanding of awakening as simply dissolving the “I.” That view leads to only a partial awakening. An embodied awakening takes the full journey: discovering that the “I” isn’t one thing, but a nested series of structures held within the psyche. Level I begins by finding and releasing these; including the authority structures that hold unworthiness, shame, and self-judgment, and the structures of felt emptiness that need nourishment rather than avoidance. Each is simpler to work with than it sounds, and always gentle.

Through the exercises, what emerges is an embodied experience of presence. A coming home to yourself. Many problems and forms of stress ease as a result, but that relief is the side effect, not the point.

Who created the Wholeness Work?

Connirae Andreas, an internationally recognised NLP developer and creator of Core Transformation. She has refined deep transformation work over 40+ years through teaching, clinical practice, and continued personal exploration.

How is the Wholeness Work different from meditation?

Where meditation often relies on cultivating attention over time, the Wholeness Work uses precise inner questions to invite a felt shift in the moment. Many participants describe arriving at states they had previously only glimpsed on retreat.

How is the Wholeness Work different from therapy / coaching?

The Wholeness Work is not therapy or coaching and does not aim to treat clinical conditions. It works with the structure of the self rather than with the content of a personal history; there is no requirement to recall or narrate difficult material. Many participants use the Wholeness Work alongside ongoing professional support.

Is the Wholeness Work backed by research?

The Wholeness Work itself does not have published research trials yet. It is too recent, and we do not present it as a medical treatment. Core Transformation, Connirae’s other method, is a separate method with its own peer-reviewed research behind it, including two randomised controlled trials, the most recent published in 2026 in a journal of the American Psychological Association. For the Wholeness Work, what we can point to is the experience of the many people who practise and teach it, across thousands of sessions over the past decade. Click here for more information on Core Transformation research.

Is the Wholeness Work a religion or spiritual belief system?

No. The method is structural and experiential; it does not require belief in any tradition, doctrine, or worldview. People come to it from many backgrounds, including those with no spiritual interest at all.

Trainings & practice.

How do I begin with the Wholeness Work?

The simplest start is the Free Intro, a 25-minute introduction with Connirae. No payment, no commitment, and you can stop at any point. From there, Level I is the first paid training.

What are the training levels?

The Wholeness Work is taught as a five-level pathway, with a separate Coach Training.

Level I, Healing & Awakening. The foundation. You learn the Basic Process, the Meditation Format, the Authority Process, Integrating What’s Missing, and the sleep application.

Level II, Meeting What’s Next. New methods for the next structures of the unconscious, the ones Level I doesn’t reach. They include roles and identities, attachments and aversions, healing the victim within, reclaiming aspects of consciousness that have “evacuated,” integrating the “not self” or the “other,” and work with intergenerational patterns.

Level III, Going Further Still. Polarity work, two-stage dream processing, meta-program identities, finding “the game” (what we hide from ourselves), and special steps for integrating the auditory channel.

Level IV, Systemic Integration. Family constellation work at a level only possible once the earlier structures are cleared, time encodings, the eternal now, the What’s Avoided format, and Integrating “the Teacher.”

Level V. First taught in retreat format, in Portugal, in July 2026.

Coach Training. A separate live online program with Connirae, for those who have completed Levels I to IV and have practised the Wholeness Work on themselves for at least 30 to 90 days. It covers introducing the work to newcomers, handling common challenges in sessions, adapting to clients with prior backgrounds such as meditation or NLP, and choosing and moving between formats. It includes a coach manual, intake and session forms, and two sample coaching sessions led by Connirae.

How long does each training take?

Live online trainings are scheduled in multiple 2-3 hour sessions over several weeks. Self-paced video courses can be completed in your own time. Cohort dates are listed on the Trainings page.

Are training sessions live or recorded?

Both. The live online levels run with Connirae or a senior trainer in real time, with recordings available to participants afterward. Self-paced video courses are available for those who prefer to begin in their own time.

Do I need any prior experience or background?

None. Level I and the Free Intro require no background in NLP, meditation, or therapy. Practitioners and helping professionals also join; the method is accessible across the full range of starting points.
